| Freshers 2014/15 - Offer process |
Until you have met the conditions of your course offer Accommodation Services will continue to regularly update you with relevant information. For those of you waiting on your A-level results you should expect to receive your Licence Agreement by the end of August. Students who are already holding an Unconditional Offer with the University will be sent a Licence Agreement from June/July once the rents for session 2014/15 have been set. If you have provided Accommodation Services with an email address you will receive an email with details of how to accept your allocation online. You will need to check your messages on a regular basis. To secure your room offer you will be asked to accept the Licence Agreement online and pay a £350 deposit. If you are planning to be away from home during the summer period and will not have access you should arrange for someone responsible to check your email account to safeguard your allocation from being cancelled. Please ensure that you check both your inbox and junk mail folder regularly during the allocation period from June to September. If you are under 18 when joining the University you will be asked to provide details of your guarantor. A letter/email will be sent to your nominated guarantor to complete. They will also be required to accept your Licence Agreement on your behalf. For full details please read the Under 18's Policy for Resident Students. Offers of accommodation formal or otherwise are provisional and subject to the clearance of all money owing to the University up to and including the end of the Summer Vacation 2014. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO ALLOCATE YOUR ACCOMMODATION PREFERENCE WE CANNOT GUARANTEE to do so as it is subject to demand. However, you will be offered an alternative. Full details of your accommodation will be sent to you with your Licence Agreement in August/September.
