Pre-sessional students 2015/16 - Cancellation process

PRE-SESSIONAL COURSE DURING TERM TIME

You will have 7 days from the payment date of your booking fee to cancel your room offer/allocation and receive a full refund of your booking fee (provided that your Licence Agreement does not begin within this 7 day period).

After the 7 day cancellation period the following single accommodation charges apply:

  • By 1 August 2015: £50
  • By 31 August 2015: £100
  • From 1 September 2015 the £350 booking fee will be retained in full by the University to cover additional administration expenses incurred in finding a replacement and processing their documentation.

PRE-SESSIONAL COURSE DURING THE SUMMER VACATION (from June 2016)

If you wish to cancel your pre-sessional room you are required to give written notice directly to the Accommodation Services 7 days before your Licence Agreement starts. Cancellations are required to be submitted using the online cancellation form. Provided more than 7 days notice is given directly to Accommodation Services you would receive a full refund of your 1 weeks deposit payment. After this your payment will be retained by the University and will not be returned to you.

All cancellations must be submitted using the online cancellation form located in the student hub.
