We hope you are thoroughly enjoying your stay in campus accommodation during your studies at Brunel University London. Below are some of the frequently asked questions received during the month of November. If you have any queries regarding your accommodation please check below in the first instance.

What happens if I have not paid my first instalment yet?

If you have any problems paying your rent the University offers a number of support services to help you manage your finances. If you are still awaiting your loan or bursary please contact the Student Centre for additional information. Furthermore the Money Doctors offer money saving tips and resources in order to help you budget your finances for the term. Please note that late payments can incur a charge of £50. In addition a further charge of £50 is added for every subsequent payment date the instalment remains unpaid. If you are unsure of the amount you owe the University you can find the instalment amounts and payment dates on your e-Vision account under the tab ‘My Money’.

 

 

I am having problems with my flatmates, is there someone I can talk to about it?

If you have an issue with any of your flatmates, that cannot be resolved within your flat, you can speak to your Residence Office to help resolve any issues. Did you know we have Residence Student Mentors who can also help and support you through any issues you may have in campus accommodation. They can be contacted during term time from Monday-Thursday 5pm-9pm.

 

 

What if I want to move out early?

If you intend to move out before the end of your contract please refer to our Vacating your Accommodation Process 2016/17 leaflet prior to handing in your keys to your Residence Office.

 

 

 

 

Reporting Maintenance/Damage Issues

Submit a Maintenance Request under "Request Forms" in your Accommodation Hub.
If you would like to check the progress of a maintenance request please contact your
Residence Office.
