Studio 2017/18 - Offer process |
Formal offers will be made during August 2017. Accommodation Services will send the Licence Agreement to the Brunel email address of the primary applicant with details of how to accept the agreement online. You and your partner will be required to collect the keys for the accommodation on the same day (keys will not be released to just one flat resident). A text alert will be sent to remind you to view and accept the terms and conditions by a deadline date. You will normally be asked to accept your agreement online within 2/3 days. If you think you will be away during this time and unable to access your emails please ensure that someone responsible is able to check your email account for you. Please make sure we have your correct email address and mobile number to enable us to inform you if you have been successful or unsuccessful with your application. Should your circumstances change (including your relationship status) you are required to inform Accommodation Services immediately. You may be required to leave the accommodation and asked to re-apply for alternative accommodation subject to terms and conditions and availability. Please note that you will not be allocated if you do not require accommodation for the duration of the Licence period. If you are under 18 when joining the University you will be asked to provide details of your guarantor. A letter/email will be sent to your nominated guarantor to complete. They will also be required to accept your Licence Agreement on your behalf. For full details please read Under 18's Policy for Resident Students. Offers of accommodation formal or otherwise are provisional and subject to the clearance of all money owing to the University up to and including the end of the Summer Vacation. Please note: Submitting an application form and paying a booking fee by the deadline date does not guarantee you a room as this will depend on you meeting the required criteria and room availability. If you have outstanding money owing to the University or currently have a Residences Alert or Ban your application will not be processed. Undergraduate returners: Please note that a small number of studio flats will be allocated in February of each year to assist returning students to secure accommodation before they leave campus for the summer vacation.
