Pre-sessional students 2018/19 - Cancellation process

PRE-SESSIONAL COURSE DURING TERM TIME

You will have 7 days from the payment date of your booking fee to cancel your room offer/allocation (or application if you are a returning student) and receive a full refund of your booking fee (provided that your Licence Agreement does not begin within this 7 day period).

After the 7 day cancellation period the following single accommodation charges apply:

  • By 31 March 2018: £50
  • By 1 August 2018: £75
  • By 31 August 2018: £100
  • From 1 September 2018 the booking fee will be retained in full by the University to cover additional administration expenses incurred in finding a replacement and processing their documentation.

APRE-SESSIONAL COURSE DURING THE SUMMER VACATION (from June 2018)

If you wish to cancel your pre-sessional room you are required to give written notice directly to the Accommodation Centre 7 days before your Licence Agreement starts. Cancellations are required to be submitted using the online cancellation form. Provided more than 7 days notice is given directly to Accommodation Centre you would receive a full refund of your payment. After this your 1st weeks rent payment will be retained by the University and the remainder paymnent will be returned to you.

All cancellations must be submitted using the online cancellation form located in the student hub.
