Studio 2019/20 - Eligibility

 

To be eligible to apply for a studio flat you are required to be an enrolled full-time, full-fee paying student for the entire session. Accommodation Centre may request evidence from your department. Partners must stay in residence for the duration of the Licence Agreement. Single applicants are also welcome to apply, however priorty is given to co-habiting couples in the first instance.

Couples, irrespective of their sexual orientation, may apply for this accommodation provided they are either married or in a long-term stable relationship.

There is no family accommodation available. Students with children/dependants cannot live in the studio flats. When both partners are registered students of the University, each may qualify for occupancy of a studio flat in their own right.

Priority is given to first year full-time postgraduate students and full-time research students followed by 4th year final year undergraduate and 3rd year final year undergraduate students. Other undergraduate students are also invited to apply.

Offers of accommodation formal or otherwise are provisional and subject to the clearance of all money owing to the University up to and including the end of the Summer Vacation.

Please note these flats are for adult couples occupation only - no children/dependants are permitted to stay on campus overnight.

Partner Confirmation - must be submitted by the deadline date
Your partner will also be required to confirm to the Accommodation Centre that s/he is aware that their details have been placed on the Studio Flat application. Your partner can confirm this by email to Accommodation Centre. If you have previously stayed in a campus studio flat with us and your partner's details have remained the same your partner is not required to resubmit their partner confirmation.
