| Returning BPC 2025/26 - Cancellation process |
All students will have 7 days from the payment date of their advance payment (the payment date is counted as the first day) to cancel an allocation/room offer and receive a full refund of the advance payment (provided the Licence Agreement does not begin within this 7 day period). Please note cancellations will only be accepted via the Student Living Hub or via email to the Allocations Team (Student Living) . After the Seven Day Period as defined in the Residences Rules and Regulations, the following accommodation cancellation charges will apply to cover the replacement costs:
From 20 August 2025: All students from 20 August 2025 will be charged the advance payment £350 (single room) charge or £450 (Studio/Flats). The advance payment is non-fundable and will be retained by the University to cover the Replacement Costs charge. This includes students attending a University formal placement.
All cancellations must be put in writing to the Allocations Team by completing the online cancellation request form located in the Student Living Hub. Summer VacationYour first weeks rent is non-refundable unless notice is given to the Allocations Team seven days before the start of your contract. Notice is to be given to the Allocations Team using the online cancellation form located in the Student Living Hub. |
