Applications for the summer vacation are now available online. The deadline date for online applications and payments for students wishing to continue their stay after the end of their contract is Friday 24 April 2015. For more information on how to apply please visit the Accommodation Services summer website.

Students with a Licence Agreement until 10am Sunday 7 June 2015 who do not apply and make payment by Friday 24 April 2015 will be required to vacate their campus room by 10am Sunday 7 June 2015.

If you decide to apply in small blocks Accommodation Services are not able to guarantee continuous stay in the same room or that we will have availability when you make a future application. Therefore it is important that you apply and pay for the maximum period you require.

It is advisable that you have your credit/debit card ready when going to submit your online summer vacation application; summer accommodation fees can be paid online upon submission of the application.

Please Note

• Accommodation Services do not have access to all the halls during the summer due to maintenance requirements and conference bookings; so you may be asked to move to a different room after your term time contract finishes.


• Students currently living on campus who book accommodation into the summer vacation period are required to be available on campus from 7 June 2015 to 12 June 2015 to move (if necessary) to their new room upon request of their Residence Manager.


• All PGCert students with a Licence Agreement that ends in June 2015, who wish to stay on longer can also apply to stay for the summer period by submitting an application online.


• All Postgraduate/Research students with a Licence Agreement ending at 10am 6 September 2015 are not required to apply.


• If you fail to vacate your accommodation on the correct date/time you will be liable for additional accommodation fees at a nightly rate of £39.00 for a standard room, £44.00 for an en suite room and £66.00 for a studio flat.


• All cancellations need to be put in writing by submitting our  Cancellation Request Form which is located in your student hub. Your first weeks rent is non-refundable unless notice is given in writing 7 days before the start of each new Licence Agreement.
