Cost of your stay and your £350 deposit

Your accommodation will be allocated to you from XX June 2015 until 10 am on XX September 2015. If you would like to arrive before this date we can make arrangements for you provided you inform the Accommodation Services in advance. If you wish to arrive early a nightly charge of £18.57 per night, for an en suite room will be applied to your account.

The total cost of your stay for XX nights in an en suite room is £XXXX.XX, you are required to pay this during registration. Please be advised once you arrive your £350 deposit will be credited towards your rent instalment.

What do I need to do?

Payment of your £350 deposit will need to be paid before you arrive, please see below for payment methods:

• You can pay by credit/debit card online please click here for further details.
• You can also make payment using your card by calling the Cash Office on + 44 (0) 1895 265 264.
• Alternatively you can also pay by bank transfer, please see the following link for the Brunel University London bank details.

What happens if I decide to cancel?

If you wish to cancel your pre-sessional room you are required to give written notice directly to the Accommodation Services 7 days before your Licence Agreement starts. Cancellations are required to be submitted using the online cancellation request form. This would be XX June 2015, provided notice is given by this date you would receive a full refund of the £350 deposit. If you wish to cancel your accommodation after XX June 2015 your deposit will be retained by the University and will not be returned to you.

What type of Accommodation is on offer?

The Brunel campus provides self-catering accommodation for approximately 4532 students in 33 halls of residence, which include 113 studio flats for co-habiting couples. All new students are given priority for accommodation and there is no distance radius for eligibility. Each hall has its own character and you can discover more about them by visiting the individual hall web pages.

Every standard and en suite room is exclusive to you, so you have the advantage of your own private bedroom. All the accommodation on campus is self-catered offering flexibility and independence. You determine your food budget, prepare your own meals and decide when and what to eat. If you don't wish to cook for yourself there are several places to eat around campus.

What facilities are available in the Halls of Residence and on campus?

All rooms have WIFI internet access via the University network, which is included in your rent. All campus accommodation fees include limited personal insurance cover, heating and lighting. You will be provided with bedding in your room and have access to a laundrette within each Halls of Residence. Some halls also have lift access.

Along with the benefits that come as part of your accommodation we also offer extra services which range from additional leaning services, cleaning packs and kitchen packs.

As well as the facilities within your Halls of Residence the campus also has a lot to offer. All the essentials are on campus including a bank, medical centre, pharmacy, shop, gym and off-campus Housing Office.

There is a regular market including fruit and veg stalls and catering outlets such as Subway and Proud to Serve Costa. You will also have the opportunity to join some of the Brunel's clubs and society's through the Student Union.

We know how important it is for students to feel safe when living away from home and Brunel University London prides itself on having a safe and secure campus. There is a dedicated 24 hours per day 7 days per week, Security Team located on campus.

Campus Accommodation for session 2015/16

If you require accommodation for your main course of study commencing in September 2015, please complete the online application form. Further information will be provided by Accommodation Services in August once you have moved in to your room on campus. You will be required to apply online and pay a £350 booking fee by xx June 2015. Before applying or making payment of the booking fee please make sure you are aware of the cancellation conditons.

Looking for accommodation with your partner?

If you require a studio flat for co-habiting couples you will be required to complete a studio flat application. Please be advised both you and your partner, will be required to collect your keys together within office hours. Please see the following link for more information:
