Below are some of the frequently asked questions received during the month of April. If you have any queries regarding your accommodation please check below in first instance. Rent instalment information for campus accommodation |
The next accommodation payment is due by Wednesday 20 April 2016. To find out more information on how you can pay for your accommodation fees, please click here. For undergraduate students the booking fee will be credited towards this instalment of rent. For postgraduates/researchers the booking fee would be credited towards the May instalment. Don't forget to deduct your booking fee from the amount shown on your Licence Agreement or invoice. If you are unsure how much your final instalment is please contact us via our chat service. |
What happens if I cannot pay my instalment on time?
Students are required to make their accommodation instalments on or before the instalment due dates. Unfortunately, Accommodation Services are not able to make arrangements for you to pay your rent instalments other than on the University approved dates that are found on your Licence Agreement and invoice issued to you from the University Finance Office. If you are unable to make your payments by the due date a charge of £50 to cover banking and administration charges will be added to your Brunel account by the Finance Office for each instalment of the accommodation fees not paid on or by the due date. If there was a problem with your Student Finance, resulting in a delay in your payment, you can always discuss the issues with the Student Centre who may be able to advise you of any additional information. If you are receiving a Brunel University Bursary please contact Accommodation Services for advice on making payments monthly. If you are receiving a NHS Bursary and have difficulty making the rent payment dates please contact the Student Centre for details on alternative payment schedules. If you are having difficulties in paying your rent or have any other financial issues please contact the Money Doctors located on campus who will be able to provide you with advice and guidance.

Apply Now for Summer Vacation Accommodation
Deadline for continuous stay: 22 April 2016
Applications for the Summer 2016 accommodation are available now! Please complete the online application and make a full payment of duration you require for the summer by 22 April 2016. The minimum booking of one week is required when applying. Additional summer booking can be made online if you decide you would like to stay longer. The latest to do so is 7 days prior to the end of your existing contract.
Please note some Halls of Residence are not available to book during the summer period due to redecoration or because they are already booked for conference use. This will mean some students may be required to change rooms for the summer period. We will do our best to offer you the same room but this is not guaranteed.
