Applications for 2017/18 are now open, please make a note of the booking fee payment required and deadline dates below. Ensure that you apply and pay the booking fee in advance of the deadline date to avoid any last minute delays. The rent prices for session 17/18 are currently being set by the University and will be published by June 2017.

Useful information

• Paying and applying by the deadline date does not guarantee you a room as this is dependent on you meeting the required criteria and room availability
• Although you may apply and pay early you are not guaranteed a campus room, just guaranteed to be entered into the ballot - rooms are not offered on a first come first served basis but in policy priority order
• Unfortunately if you have outstanding money owing to the University, or currently have a Residences Alert or Ban your application will not be processed
• You must be a fully enrolled full-time student at Brunel University London - if your circumstances change within this academic year your offer may be withdrawn
• If your application is unsuccessful your booking fee will be automatically returned in full (subject to outstanding accommodation related charges)
• You can apply for both a single room and a studio
• If your single application is successful you can then apply as a group

Cancellation

If you cancel your application or room offer the following booking fee cancellation conditions will apply:

You will have seven days from the payment date of your booking fee (your payment date is counted as the first day) to cancel your application and receive a full refund of your booking fee (provided that your Licence Agreement does not begin within the seven day period). After the seven day booking fee cancellation period the following cancellation charges will apply:

o By 31 March 2017: £50

o By 1 August 2017: £75

o By 31 August 2017: £100

o From 1 September 2017 the full booking fee will be retained by the University to cover the additional administrative expenses incurred in finding a replacement and processing their documentation. Please note if you have submitted both a studio and single room application the above conditions will apply to both ie two charges will be made one for each application.

Please ensure you read all the terms and conditions that apply to you before submitting any application for accommodation.

Helpful Tips!

1. Apply during office hours and don't leave it until the last minute!

2. Have your card details ready - your application will only be accepted if you pay your booking fee at the same time

3. Clear any outstanding money - we can't process your application if you have outstanding fees, please check e-vision for your account information

4. Update your contact information via the accommodation hub- if we can't contact you your application is at risk of not being processed if there is a problem
